Lovely hotel with loads of old world charm - a real gem of a place with beautiful stained glass windows and traditional Czech painted ceilings ( which was what we hoped to find). The beds were a little firm for my liking but that’s pretty standard in Prague I understand. The staff are really accommodating and are there no matter what time you turn up at night. A nice quiet spot a stones throw from the castle… but for those who don’t like hills it might be a bit of a climb as it’s all up hill from Charles bridge, a 12 minute walk away. Having said that, it’s a good district and worth the climb and in fact we were really pleased not to be staying right in the centre as it’s much noisier and busier down there. On arrival we were offered a glass of Prosecco which was a nice touch! The photos show our room and the view from it. 100% recommend this place 🤩

Hotel is renovated in a romantic style, painted ceilings , I though is the only one as this but I found another one close to the river. Room big enough for 2 , we had double bed but made from 2 twin beds. If you are taller then 185cm I would say is a little short. We didnt use TV or fridge but is there. Bathroom is big ( we used 2 rooms 401 and 305) well equipped , including bidet. Shower is well sized . Breakfast: personnel very nice , there are salty and sweet choices. Coffee and juices are ok, no boiled eggs only scrambled. Location: few minutes away from Prague castle, on the hill , noisy on one side ( here are some construction work, that is why we changed the room). Nearby we found a store where we could buy water or other things if you need.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. We traveled with our 7 year old daughter, they ensured that an extra little bed was brought in for her. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is great, walking distance from Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and other main attractions. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars in the area. We unfortunately had a medical emergency to deal with while we were there. The staff went out of their way to help us find the right hospital, book the car and assist with storing our luggage. We will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you Team King Charles

The King Charles hotel was a great choice for our extended weekend trip to Prague! The room was big and had comfortable furniture and a comfortable bed, and it was authentically decorated which made us feel like we were staying at a castle. Furthermore, the room was nice and clean. It was easy to check in and out, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were very happy that we chose the King Charles hotel - we would gladly book again!

Great location and really friendly staff. The room was big and the bed was also big and comfortable. Walking distance from the tourist highlights but very quiet at night. The desk staff couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is in an interesting historical building which has been sympathetically renovated - very clean and cosy.
